FAMILY LAW

I have over 28 years of experience representing clients and mediating in the area of Family Law. I advise and represent clients in a wide range of family law matters, including:

  • Divorce
  • Child Support
  • Custody & Visitation
  • Pre-Marital Agreements
  • Post Judgment Modification and Contempt
  • Representation of Minor Children
  • Paternity
  • Name Changes
  • Custodial Parent Relocation
  • Property/Asset Distribution
  • Marital Debt Allocation
  • Alimony, Spousal Maintenance
  • Legal Separation
  • Allocation of Parental Responsibilities
  • Grandparent & Third Party Visitation
  • Adoptions
  • Parental Rights

In addition to my own Family Law practice, I also serve as a Special Master for the Hartford Superior Court. Further, I mediate dissolution of marriage cases and assist parties in resolving their divorce issues amicably with dignity and respect.

BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL LAW

I advise and represent individuals and small businesses in a variety of business-related matters designed to assist in the establishment, protection, and growth of their business. Some of the matters which I handle include the selling and purchasing of small businesses, franchise transfers, as well as incorporations, Limited Liability Company and Partnership formations.

REAL ESTATE LAW

I represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions involving the purchase and sale of residential and commercial property. From contract preparation through closing, I will be there to advise you.

LANDLORD / TENANT

To complement my Real Estate practice, I represent both landlords and tenants in eviction proceedings.

SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY

If something happens to you where you become disabled or unable to work, you, and in some cases your dependents, are entitled to receive cash benefits in an amount based upon how much you or they have worked and earned in the past. These benefits, known as Social Security Disability benefits, are not easily handed out. An application must be submitted and sufficient medical documentation must be submitted to prove your disability status. The process is lengthy, highly technical, and complicated.

For seven years, I worked as a Social Security Disability Examiner for the government. I have a unique “insider” perspective of the process including training of office staff. While in the past I handled these cases for the government, I now use that experience and knowledge to effectively represent social security disability claimants, such as yourself, to obtain the benefits that you are entitled to.

If you are disabled or unable to work, contact me today to schedule a FREE initial consultation.

PROBATE & ESTATE PLANNING

I provide a full range of probate and estate planning matters including the probating of decedent’s estates, preparation of Wills, Living Wills, Living Trusts, and Powers of Attorney. I also handle Conservatorships and Guardianships.
